Sounds like you have a slow leak in the fuel system somewhere. I know my #5 injector line has a real slow leak and if I park on a hill overnight sometimes I have to crank it for a while the next morning. I think you're just losin a little bit of your fuel prime while it's parked for a period of time. Just check all your hoses and lines and make sure everything's tight.

His sig says he has a fuel pressure guage - but no mention of what the pressure is.

on some vehicles if the abs and brake light comes on the alternator is bad. i have seen this several times. its worth checking out anyway.

Freind of mine's 01 is doing the same. His was the Lift Pump.

If it is a crossover oring issue it should leak well under power enough to smell it in the cab after a few WOT runs. Also after the hard start does it idle rough for a few seconds then smooth out?
