I previously posted regarding the truck chocking at higher RPMs. I didn't have a pressure gage but do now. I am perty sure it is tbe lift pump. When I start it the gage goes up to 10 then continues to drop at idle to 2. When I step on it it goes to 0.
I have an Air Dog FL100 system. I can buy just the replacement pump for it for $209.00. Should I replace it? Your reply will be appreciated. Thank you

 

The Air Dog is lifetime warranted if you're the original purchaser.

 

I would ditch it if you are not the original purchaser and covered under warranty. Fass Makes a good pump.

 

Think mine came with paperwork that said 2 years. Guess I should have bought one sooner.


As far as the pressure... you did say you changed the fuel filter, correct?

 

Yes I changed the filter first. I am the second owner and the pump is about 4-5 years old. I went ahead and ordered a new pump. Thanks for your reply.

 

What kind of pump did you order?

 

I ordered a replacement pump for the Air Dog 100. That way I didn't have to replace the whole unit.
