I installed my DTT assasin mechanical lift pump on my 2000 extended cab long box last night and thought I would share my opinion on it in case someone is looking at getting one. Right out of the box it is a nice looking high quality unit, it even comes with a draw straw. the instructions make it fairly easy to install. My fuel pressure sits at a constant 13-14 psi at idle and 23-25 at WOT. The only bad thing is they didn't supply quite enough fuel line to finish the install, they had enough in the kit to run your supply line, the line to the regulator and return fuel line. I had to go to my local parts store and get about 3.5 ft of fuel line to run to my stock fuel filter. Once I had every thing installed I left the line off of my fuel filter and ran the belt for the lift pump around the chuck of my cordless drill and prime the system, installed the line on my fuel filter and my truck fired right up.

 

23-25 PSI seems like a lot. What size is the fuel line? My Fass system runs 18-19 at idle and WOT.

 

3/8 fuel line. That 23-25 is darn near red lining, it stays at about 14-15 while I'm cruisin down the highway
