I just had this ATS tranny put in my 3500 dodge I was getting 18 miles a gallon that I checked by hand. It is now 13.5. is this normal will it go back up when its broke in? I read that I should expect better milage with this transmission. I have to lie to the wife to keep the truck. she wants something getting 20 or better. Every thing i did to this truck brought up the milage except for this now I am back where I started when I bought itHave ou guys got any suggestions. I change the fuel filter and oil on time. I did just get the thing flashed to get it to shift better after i put the tranny in. Could that have something to do with it? Thanks for your help in advance.

 

yer prolly drivin the truck a lil harder than you did before since the tranny feels so good..... i know i did when i get my Goerend. i'm getting 17-19 depending on my speed and driving style...... try taking it easy for a tank and see what it calculates to....
