oil filter housing
looking for a oil filter housing for my 1999 dodge 3500 24v cumming mine is leaking around on of the turbo oil lines out the top it has a nice size crack down the side I have already done the jb weld on it that has worked for the last 6 months now its leaking again so I would like to just replace it but haven't been able to find one is there maybe like a remote mount oil filter housing that could bolt over where the stock oil filter housing is just wondering thank you for any help anyone can give

this is going to be a dealer only part...however you can likely order from the web from a site like chryslerpartsdirect.com
they sell OEM dealer only parts at a discounted rate rather than the 150-300% markup the stealerships charge...
worth a look...
you will need to replace that housing as well as both oil cooler gaskets while you are in there.
make sure to buy a few gallons of coolant and some engine oil when you replace it...
once you pull that cover off, you will loose most if not all of your engine coolant...that opens up directly to the blocks main water jacket. once you pull that and the oil cooler out you can easily see the outsides of the cylinder walls...
