Steering and brakes making groaning noise
2001 2500 cummins 2wd 6-speed
When I turn the wheel, touch the brakes, and driving at low rpm I get a loud groaning noise from my front end. From what ive read I assumed it to be the hydroboost, but I have a leak in my steering box at the arm conection. Its not a terrible leak and my fluid levels are good. I am new to this truck and still confused about the relation of the brakes and ps. The brakes and wheel have an odd feel to them but still work properly.
Thanks for any help!

for now I would take a turkey baster and suck out as much steering fluid as possible and add ATF 4 and do this a couple more time a day or two later. Just did it on my wifes Jeep and working so much better and have done on my Dodge and cold weather turning much better.
