Hey, have an update. I got my timbo APP in and the truck is still a dog. I tried pulling the MAP sensor and it was clean so I just installed it back. After doing this the CEL came on but without any new codes. I have a bit of oil around my turbo and still losing acceleration right off of take off still getting white smoke at first start then clears up. Truck will clear up USUALLY and then run fine. I ended up having to replace my injection pump & lift pump after getting some really dirty fuel, could my injectors be bad too? Any ideas where to head from here would be great! Got thousands in these rapairs and ready to get it on the road again. Thanks everyone!

Did you replace your injection pump again since your first post on here? The P0216 is generally a bad injection pump regardless if it was new or not. (assuming the fuel pressure and volume are good.)

Have you cleared your codes since you have made the repairs then rechecked what comes back?

Reading what you have posted, it sounds like you had an injection pump problem, an Apps problem and a fuel sending unit problem.

The apps is not as sensitive as everyone is making it out to be. The computer will learn what closed throttle is. Otherwise we would all have issues as the throttle stop wears over the years. .48 to .52 The computer will make adjustments. You get it close to .50 you will be fine assuming your APPS is good and it ramps up smoothly as the pedal is pressed. Let the computer learn the perimeters.

You could have been fixing your apps problem and then dealing with an injector pump problem.

Start over. You have a bunch of new parts. Make sure everything is set to factory specs. Apps as close to .5 as you can. Clear your codes in both modules. Drive the vehicle normally for a little bit and then figure out what problems you still have. You mentioned some bad fuel. Make sure you have that problem resolved. Clean non contaminated fuel good fuel volume.

i thought i had a bad tps or apps on my 99 24v. and it was doing the same thing yours is doing and it ended up being the map senor. it was a 5 minute fix and it was like 100 bucks at autozone.
