I have a 99 2500 24VCummins Auto 4x4.....

I bought this thing used off a Shark lot back in May...

I have been using it Close to home in Oregon to Tow Vehicles around on my Car trailer Multiple times over the months I have owned it....It had some Mechanical issues when I bought it, I figured it would buying off a Lot...

Well I started Doing Rescue Dog Transport with it 4 wks ago...using a 28 Ft. Goose Neck Fully enclosed Horse trailer to Move Dogs Cross Country... Truck and trailer Weighed in around 13,500 Empty...The One Big Question Mark I had going into this Road trip was the Longevity of the Tranny.....????? truck has 240k on it And had a bunch of the usual done to it prior to me getting it.

I drove my First trip from Eugene Oregon to Atlanta Georgia And back 3 Wks ago...

En route To GA, Going South I got to Paducah, KY....And the transmission Puked on me....Not over many many miles....no I pulled into a Truck stop to Fuel up, Rolled back out on the Hwy, and got 2 miles then Poof...No more go, Shut it Down, let it sit about 20 mins, and got it to move 2 more miles...Did this trick about 12 times.....Got it to the next Exit....Called AAA and they can't move the trailer...I got 3 Dogs with me already, So I have to Move the trailer....So after getting 2 Different Tow outfits to move the truck and trailer, I found a guy Who Really Knows Dodge Trannies...

He not only let me stick the trailer, Dogs, and I on the Lot.
He Also had my transmission Tore out, Tore Down, Cleaned, Flushed, and Back together, Built Much Tougher with all the Big Boy goodies in less than 24 hrs....And I was Back Hammer Down South Bound....

Stand up Shop, Clean Facility, Good Guys Working for him, and He is Definately A Stand up Guy.....
