Default Auto Trans

Just bout an 01 2500 new to the 24v but very aware of the problems with the auto trans. Going to be a few months till i have the money to build it. It has the TST powermax box on it will running in the higher levels getting on it cause it to take a **** on me? i have heard the 01 and 02s are a lil better than the 94-99 trannys but looking for some advice

No dont run the box unless you have a after market lift pump. If you dont you can kill the injection pump which will cost you another 1500$!
Been there, done that.
Dont worry about the trans yet.

After market lift pump installed already, Fuel pressure gauge generally runs anywhere from 12-16?

Oh nevermind then! You should be fine just dont let it go anylower! I wasnt too smart and ran a stock liftpump witha EJWA.. My vp went out fast. As long as you dont hotdog it too much on the trans you should be fine. im on level 5 on my chip which is 120hp and 3xx ft.tq. and it slips in higher gears. Just be mindful of what you are doing and you should do just fine!
Im new to the diesel game but trust me ive heard about injection pump and trannys more then anything
