Auto Trans
 

Just bout an 01 2500 new to the 24v but very aware of the problems with the auto trans. Going to be a few months till i have the money to build it. It has the TST powermax box on it will running in the higher levels getting on it cause it to take a shit on me? i have heard the 01 and 02s are a lil better than the 94-99 trannys but looking for some advice

No dont run the box unless you have a after market lift pump. If you dont you can kill the injection pump which will cost you another 1500$!

Dont worry about the trans yet.

After market lift pump installed already, Fuel pressure gauge generally runs anywhere from 12-16?

Oh nevermind then! You should be fine just dont let it go anylower! I wasnt too smart and ran a stock liftpump witha EJWA.. My vp went out fast. As long as you dont hotdog it too much on the trans you should be fine. im on level 5 on my chip which is 120hp and 3xx ft.tq. and it slips in higher gears. Just be mindful of what you are doing and you should do just fine!:tu:
