i bought 2 reman brake calipers and they are absolute junk! they do not even fit right and when i went to put the sliders in, i cannot even fit it! the clip that goes in between the slider and the caliper will not even fit! is it safe to run them with out the steel clips? they are the ones that are arched and the ends are tabbed

 

They are designed to operate a certain way and when you start taking parts out, your run the risk of failure. I would advise against it even though they may work just fine. Get you someones that fit correctly without leaving parts out. Just my .02 cents.

 

i may end up having them cut down for free by a machine shop bc i spent 100$ on each caliper and they are non refundable but i hear you on running them the way they were... theyre like that for a reason
