I have 89 d350 with the same problem only mine only bounces occasionaly. Most of the time it is just sluggish and reds way too low. According to my tach my truck governs out at 2300 rpm. Mine is an aftermarket tach, and I have so far been to lazy to track where it is hooked up to. Whats funny is my truck has the same paint as Idaho Cowboys and the stupid trim fell off the tailgate too. If only I had a dollar for every time a peice of trim fell off the dodge.
