It depends on who does the rebuild. FDP doesn't replace the cap. The recall pump I got from Chrysler was a reman and did have the cap.

Okay, Good to know. After I get every other kink worked out I'll turn the pump up and see. Got some wiring soldered up today.. I didn't realize how big of a nightmare the wiring is. Someone tied in some ricer neon under the dash.. The only good wiring modification I've found so far is the headlights are on relays now.

Also, I bought door pins and bushings..

Alright, Got all under dash wiring cleaned up. Got rid of the ricer neon under the dash.. Some random switches that went to nothing.. etc. Fixed the existing off road lights by pulling the relay apart and cleaning up the contacts. I also put in a new door switch. This weekend I'm gonna address the fusible links and also the door pins and bushings.. That's gonna suck.

Took it to a Diesel performance shop here in town today to have the problems addressed under warranty. Well.. Come to find out they aren't covering the cost to replace the tv cable. Also, spoke with the shop that rebuilt the trans and they said the shop that did the removal and installation was supposed to replace the tv cable but didn't. I call the shop that did the removal and installation and he lied to me saying it was in perfect working order, and I brought up that the trans shop had told me this.. He then told me he would pick up the bill to have my truck fixed. I supposed it's turning out okay.. I'm not paying more out of pocket. It'll be done friday..

They're all over Ebay and Amazon.

Hmmm.. I checked ebay, I'll have to see about amazon. I'm not very good at finding stuff on either though.

Nothing but headaches with this transmission.. I re did my trans cooler lines cause they were leaking, went to fill it up with ATF and checked it.. ATF is all gritty.. So I'm certain it's only a matter of time before this one craps out. Time to find a NV4500 swap.. Not going with another auto.
