Default Injection Pump Issues Again...

I swear no body on this forum seems to have as bad of luck with their ve pump as i do. my latest issue is my fuel shut off soleniod stuck open, no biggie, ive just been turning it off manually, decided today to put a manual pull cable on it to make life easier. so after some research got to work, i took the cross looking lever off to atatch my cable and then did so, put it all back together and the cable worked great, turned the truck on and tried to pull it to shut it off, it moved the lever back as it should but the engine did not shut off, i realized i must have the the teeth off by one or so, so took it back apart and changed the position, but for some reason the fuel shut off shaft's teeth got rounded off almost and now when i push the lever back it just spins and doesent pull the shaft back. so my issue is if this shaft is a part i can buy and if so what is its actual name? any help is good, thanks

Good luck finding that shaft sold separately, you sure the lever just isn't making full contact with the teeth? Like the shaft might have just been pushed in slightly? There isn't a whole lot to really grab onto spline wise. best bet would probably be to go to a pump shop and have them Oder it for you, never seen one sold separately anywhere.

It's serviceable; had to swap it over to my new pump top. Just don't know if replacement part is available.
