Found a suprise on my engine

well thats what i was thinking. i cant seem to find any leaks. and i deffinatly cant hear anything hissin. i redone my intake tube, and i picked up some boost but still around that 8 -10 psi range. oh btw i have my star wheel turned to loosest setting. soapy water in a squirt bottle work for finding leaks?

i have checked for leaks. none were found. i have an auto tranny, being the engine isnt loaded as much as a man. trans would be, could that be the issue? because you dont build boost untill the engine is loaded, taller gear, brake torque ETC. does anyone have any other ideas cause i'm all out

Throw a Wh1c or a hx35 12cm exhaust housing on it, throw in a new turbine shaft. Dab of red lock tight on compressor nut. Torque to 150 inch lbs. Rock it.

Only do the 12cm^ housing if you don't tow heavy loads. I put a stock Hx35 off of a 98 12 valve and t made my truck pretty toasty pretty fast. When I first talked about doing this mod no one mentioned it wouldn't be good for towing and I wished they would have. I had a 16cm^ non gated housing I bought for my H1C but I sold it when I got the HX35. I have since, bought another 16cm^ non gated housing for the HX35 and with stock injectors I couldn't make it get hot.
