i have a 1994 dodge ram 2500 series,4x4, reg cab with the 5.9L gas, it does have a 5 speed transmission. how can i tell if its a nv4500? also would the pedals,linkage,slave,crossmember all fit to convert a 1993 dodge 350 auto reg cab 2wd to stick

 

I don't think any of those parts will fit your 1st gen. The gas nv4500 has a smaller input shaft I believe and I'm not for sure but I thought only the v-10's came with an NV in them. The rest won't fit because its a completely different design than the 1st gen.

 

so then would i need all of the parts from a v-10 or another diesel?

 

I would hunt down 1st gen parts that way everything will essentially bolt in with exception of cutting a hole in floor pan, wish dodge would have had a bolt in hump like my Ford......
