thats what i was thinking

i can pick trucks like that around here for 500-2500 bucks and by the time i part them out i am making $4000-(9600 was the best i ever did on one 4th gen)

and whats left you take to the scrap yard i have gone through 23 dodge cummins trucks all different years in my time and i would open a diesel only wrecking yard but the city wont permit me theres good money in it but remember dont be a typical junkey and want $5 million for every part. sell some cheep sell some expensive learn to read the people you sell your parts to and if you want 300 bucks but they only got 250 take it because no sale is worth getting away

thats my story in a nutshell and what i do on a daily basis

Thanks. This is exactly the type of info I was looking for. I used to buy, fix, sell, and part vw's when I lived in PA but there's no demand for them here. When i started selling parts, it took me six months to figure out that I should realistically expect to get 50-75% of what everyone said a certain part was worth.
