I know how to adjust the cable to factory specs thanks to asticky , but can i alter shift points with the tv cable ? and if so does increasing clearence lower or raise shift points ?? i am kinda skeered of monkeying with as all my previous trucks were manuals and i was in control of when the rods came out

to a certain(very limited) extent, it can move shift points, increasing slack will raise them, tightening it up will lower them some(basicly to factory stock), but the TV controls the hydraulic pressure as well as the shift points, so loosening it up will make the trans slip, not kick down properly, and give you a hideously mushy 1-2 shift

adjusted throttle valve cable seems to have fixed the late shift problem , and seems to shift as hard as before. also get all the good chanels now.
