Default New first gen,bad brakes..

hey guys just bought another 1st gen today this ones in perfect and i mean perfect condition.only 168k miles.ill post some pics.but anyways the guy told me he replaced all the brakes front and back and he was driving it and heard a pop from the back and now it makes grinding sounds and he said the rear passnger brake is turning hard like its stuck applied and he said it was difficult to remove the hub...if it was an axle seal wouldnt it leak? or maybe the line is bad and the fluid went in and a blockage wont let it come back..oh and he tried diconnecting the parking brake, didnt do a thing....thanks in advance for any suggestions

maybe the hardware broke and is wedged between the drum and shoe. same wheel on my truck kinda the same thing. mine was the self adjusting cable kept breaking, twice in the same amount of weeks.........just took it out and adjust it often.

If you think the wheel cyl. is holding pressure on the shoes take the line off at the wheel cyl. this will relieve pressure. I think this is unlikely. I would try to loosen it on the star wheel then remove the hub to see whats going on.
