My Vents dont switch

There are three vacuum actuators that control the vents. One selects between drawing air in through the floor inlet on the passanger side of the vehicle or drawing air from under the windshield. This one is behind the glovebox facing to the right. One selects between flowing air out of the floor vents or the head vents. This one is behind the glove box facing to the left. The third turns defogger vents on or off. This one is down to the right of the driver's feet. They're all easy to get to, pull the vacuum hoses off of and see if they're getting vacuum when they're supposed to be.
If they are getting the right vacuum but not moving correctly, it's a problem with the actuator, either too much crude on the pushrod or a leaky diaphragm. If they aren't getting the right vacuum it's either a problem with the switch or the leaky lines. After 20 years, the lines may very well be cracking like Jesse Jackson in Harlem.
I took my stock push-button vacuum controller module out and replaced it with three switches on the dash and five solenoid valves behind the glove box.
