Default 4wd part

does anyone know the term for the rod that shifts the transfer case into 4wd on these trucks. it goes from the transfer case to the side of the transmission. like a connecting rod or something. or even better yet does anyone know where i can get one or have one layin around

here in california the junk yards suck its all import cars and stupid stuff. could i just bend one out of a circle rod? and then throw some washers and cotter pins through each side so they dont slide out?

sure ..........just make sure when you shift the t-case that is emgauges fully
