How do I remove the ABS
After hearing from Dieselminded that removing the ABS from my 91 first generation Cummins was a proper choice... I am all for less of what is not absolutely necessary (especially if it has a computer and wires coming out of it)
How ever I would like to accomplish this without collateral damage ... a wiring fire for instance... I would to leave the dash looking the same except without the brake lite and anti lock lights glaring at me...
Can some one give me an idea of how I might best best to accomplish this task?
Thank You in advance,
Maureen Casey

The ABS valve is on the drivers side of the frame near the rear axle, you can make up lines to bypass it. I would simply ignore the lights or remove the dash and remove the bulbs behind the dash.
