How do I remove the ABS
After hearing from Dieselminded that removing the ABS from my 91 first generation Cummins was a proper choice... I am all for less of what is not absolutely necessary (especially if it has a computer and wires coming out of it)
How ever I would like to accomplish this without collateral damage ... a wiring fire for instance... I would to leave the dash looking the same except without the brake lite and anti lock lights glaring at me... Can some one give me an idea of how I might best best to accomplish this task? Thank You in advance, Maureen Casey |
The ABS valve is on the drivers side of the frame near the rear axle, you can make up lines to bypass it. I would simply ignore the lights or remove the dash and remove the bulbs behind the dash.
I also deleted you other thread, Please rememebr this is not instant, Sometimes it take a few minutes to a day or so for people to reply |
Thanks again
I was looking for the new post at the end so I did not see the first one .. Just had it backwards... one of the unintended consequences of newbie ignorance
Thanks again again |
