I really love how it can be a neverending project that keeps me looking for more performance, comfort and milage. I love always getting " Hey man thats a really cool old truck, want to sell it " every time I park it away from the house. So yeah I love my TRUCK !
X2 great post man

Probably the best thing I like about the truck is its the only one in Gainesville FL! Definitely turns heads and gets compliments!!!

I love the fact the Air Conditioning still works on my 1992 D350 Cummins.

I can't get over how I used to ride with my Dad in all his Dodge's and its like being him or with him or driving for him that first time every time I drive a 1st Gen. Its waking up in the morning and possessing that childhood comfort riding in an old Dodge for me, that's the bottom line.

The overall simplicity from the great look, to the comfort, and what I used to get, superb mpg...but that was BEFORE I had the tranny replaced and the differential rebuilt!
Now my mpg #'s have dropped by 4mpg across the board.!!!

I love the peeling paint and the fact that in the dash, only the temperature gauge truly works. The anti-lock break light that never turns off. The radio doesn't work but that's ok, the sound of the exhaust is the best song I've ever heard. The black smoke will never get old. The rough ride makes you feel like you're in a real truck. The sight of my dad's "six-leaker" in the rear view getting smaller as he's pushing it hard just to keep up going through the mountains. It's never let me down, even when it was broken is still ran great.
