So it just doesn't fire right away when on an incline? Does it matter uphill or downhill?

"looks to be a new fuel line from the tank"......Did you install those new items yourself or did you recently acquire the truck with these items already installed? Sounds like your fuel may be draining/siphoning back into your fuel tank or the like. Check all fuel line connections for leak(s) or loose clamp(s) / connections. Just tossing it out there.

ya i just got the truck not long ago and i put the new lift pump in and the new tank but not the new fuel line. i guess i put newer intjetion lines on as well. so anything fuel like should be checked for leaking like line from tank to pump and the line from the filter to the injet pump and some times when your on hills going slow it likes to stall and then crank and crank but aslong as you give it a bit of gas it wont stall and will start great

Sounds like your calibrated return oriface is weak? Allowing fuel to leak from the pump case, and not getting enough fuel pressure to advance timing to start or stay running well.
