2001 dodge ram 2500 no start starts in high gear (the transmission) automatic wait to start lamp comes on real quick then turns off. I had a ton of trans codes and a low charge code and a few others, I replaced the injection pump and I got a code p0230 and a no start. I screwed around for a while and grounded terminal 1 on injection pump black and white wire. truck started right up. once ground removed truck would die. I know it runs to the ecm it sends a negative signal to the injection pump. while running truck would start in high gear still had plenty of power but alternator still won't charge. I think bad computer I order refurbished Pcm. But wonder If my Ecm is bad as well. Ecm is like $1000. any help would be great

 

I'd be getting a wiring diagram and checking the B+ and ground wires at the ECM before I went throwing parts at it.
