I have a 1992 dodge w350 cummins I have a dnr customs tps delete and a new temperature sensor and the overdrive still kicks in and out it wont stay in over drive but a few seconds any help on what else could be wrong would help thanks

 

Sounds to me like maybe the spring that engages the overdrive is wore outand possibly the clutches in the overdrive unit

 

Hello i have the same year truck with an automatic. When the over drive messes up the speedometer sensor on the left side of the transmission is bad. Have you replaced it yet ?? Good Luck
