Default Injector Pump Settings/Black Smoke

I went in and installed an M&H #3 fuel pin, 3200 gov spring, and the M&H timing advance. When installing the spring I failed to measure the power adjustment screw and I feel sure that this is where my problem is. I pulled an older 40' fifth wheel from AZ to CO and the black smoke was pouring out along with over heating constantly going through the mountains . Is there a way that I can adjust this or is it better to take it to a pump shop? Oh, it's a 92 D350, standard transmission with 87k. Only other mods were an MBRP muffler and I cut the end of the intake canister and installed an AFE filter.

Go into Rotary Performance section and there is a thread on turning up the pump.
It is a combination of starwheel and power screw providing the pump was put back together properly without damaging anything. Also some good info on 4Bt swaps
