Default Borgeson steering shaft

Wondering how other first genners like the borgeson steering shafts. And also how the borgeson steering boxes hold up. My rag joint and shoe and bucket steering shaft has had it. Wondering if its worth the money.

the borgeson shaft i put on my 93 was one of the best things i put on the truck (besides go fast parts) they are a little costly but what an upgrade.

Both Tiny and Da Beast have Borgeson shafts. They made the difference between herding and steering . Been fortunate, and haven't had to do boxes, braces, etc. etc., so don't know about those parts.

I put a borgeson shaft on my 93, as I had a lot of slop in steering, took most of it away, tie rod ends fixed the rest. I would sand and repaint though, mine started to rust after a few mounths.

With all of this input, I would need the 30 spline double u joint with needle bearings, right? I have a 92 and as far as I can tell I have a splined steering wheel side. What trucks had splined upper shafts as opposed to non splined upper shafts? And do they have a slip joint so I don't have to remove the steering box again.... I just did that today.

The borgeson steering shaft I put on my 93 had splined on both ends with a slip joint near center.

I rebuilt the stock shaft and in a month threw on the Borgeson and don'te regret it one bit. Made a helluva difference, especially driving with a cross wind!

What I meant was, is the upper shaft, the rag joint side, splined on all trucks? Way it sounded on boregsons site some have splines some don't. I believe mine does.... That being said just wanted input so I don't get the wrong shaft and have to go through more work!
