I finally started wet sanding and buffing this weekend, it's been a year sence i painted it, just to dang busy.

I did all the prep and primer on mine and had it professionally painted. I spent in total $2k with primer, bondo, sand paper, more sand paper, more bondo, more sand paper, and the shop to spray it. And that was just the cab! I just knew it wouldn't turn out well if I did it myself, I don't have the patience for it. Definitely do it yourself if you have the patience though!

1stgenfarmboy what did you do about where the green meets the silver? do you have a hard line, did u wetsand/buff it out or is there a fine pinstripe on there?

 

still nothing yet....thats one of those things that just keeps getting put off..

i did wetsand/buff it but i am going to do a stripe there soneday.

Farmboy ever since I saw the Pic your color combo I've wanted my truck to be just that green till then she's just got character what did you use to fill the bumper holes?

 

1st Gen farmboy that home paint job looks great

 

I did almost exactly what 1st Gen Farmboy did but to my Suburban. The original paint job was peeling so I sanded it down to the original primer.

Total cost was around $400. I put about 2 months of time into it. I still have yet to wet sand and buff it.
