What trans is this?

Im trien to help a brother out. Have a 97' 2500 automatic with overdrive and im trien to figure out what the trans is? The date of man. is 6-97 Thanks for your info and help.

My 97 has a 47re. give your vin to any junkyard and they can tell you.
