Default P-pumped 24v q's

If you stick a p7100 pump on a 24 valve, can you still run programmers? Like edge's or anything? I don't know much about p-pumping a 24v, but i'd like to look into it. Thinking of getting a 24v and p-pumping it.

I'm not very well versed on the 24v's, however since the VP44 is an electronic pump, I would say highly doubtful.

Yeahh, unfortunately what I was thinking. I'm looking into a 99 24v quad cab 3500 though. Craigslist positioning said it has new "fuel and injection pump" so I'm hoping he means Bosch pump by that!

A P7100 is a mechanically governed pump, and can not be adjusted by any type of programmer. Programmers/chips are for electronically governed injection systems only. At the best, you could install an Edge Insight for gauges and to display what the OBDII reads.

^^ what he said which all the obd is going to read on it will be the boost up to the limit of the factory sensor. to add a pyro or trans temp to it will require the add on's for the insight so its less money to just do regular gauges.

do a little searching and reading about ppumped 24v's and you will probably find that it may not be the best option for you

Preciate that. I think I'll stick with my 12 valve for now

If you have a 12v now then the ppump 24v would be no different

Sent with a Droid RAZR in one hand and 14,000 volts in the other.
