On manual trucks the PCM controls Cruise Control and the signal to the Gauge Cluster Your high idle is not recommended to be adjusted. out of curiosity why would one do this?

 

i just bought that high idle kit from high idle sytems. fairly straight forward to install and i like it alot. no issues so far.

 

I don't understand why it matters that it runs to the gauge cluster and my truck is an automatic that I swapped a manual into. For a reason why. I live in Wyoming and it gets cold so its nice to be able to idle up to warm up faster

 

Its a 12valve all manual, put a high Idle kit on it and let it buck
