the timing was done around the first of this year, and i opened the bleeder screw ontop of the filter and manually pumped the lift pump and was getting fuel but nothing is coming out of the injector pump.

someone told me to loosen the nuts on the barrels and then re tighten them lightly and when i loosened the one i heard a pop like a metal hitting metal pop, and i checked everything and proceeded to start it again and still nothing.

IF it is air. pulling it will spin the engine a gazillion times faster and it will start right up. if something is stuck, spinning it faster may loosin whatever is doing whatever? pull starting has saved me many dollars in the swear jar over the years. it very well may not do a damn thing but i would give it a shot.

with the shutdown soleinoid pulled up, DV holder and DV out, can you see the plungers racking back and fourth when you move the throttle linkage?

or you could pull the afc and fuel plate, move the shutdown soleinoid up by hand and see if the rack advances when you pull the soleinoid up and move the throttle linkage

to get air out easyest way is crack the injecton line at the fuel injector and crank the motor over, if just the line was removed.

i do not have a delivery valve socket to pull out the holder, but i will pull the afc housing off. ill go try that now.

i just pulled the afc housing off and both arms in the pump move, one moves with i move the throttle linkage and the other moves when i pull the shutoff solenoid up. any other ideas?
