Correct ... but I think you missed my point, there is no need to mess with the barrels for almost every build on here. More than enough fuel can be had with out throwing the pump out of balance. Taking it to a shop is way different than doing it yourself.

I talked to a friend that runs a pump shop. Builds some big pumps for alot of people. I told him I was going to take the pump off and bring it to him. He said, just turn the barrels and put dv's in. that's what I'm going to do. For big fuel pumps I can see getting them set. For the street under say 500 horse it's good power add for nothing. Again, if you can't afford to pay for any mistakes you make leave it stock,just my opinion. Thanks,Gary

Turning the barrels on my 309k pump took care of the idle lope it had. However it can also treat the idle badly. Just a thought...

That and timing smoothed my motor out a bunch. It sounded like it had a dead hole before.

word to the wise, dont touch your pump unless you bring it to a pro afterward.
