i actually put a 47rh into an 5 speed 98 12 valve and it is holding up pretty good. i ran the floor shifter and for the od and l/u i have pressure switches but i like having total control over the tranny so i just run toggles are you interested in getting rid of the nv 4500?

Ah nice man. I will most likely be getting rid of the nv4500 but im prob still about a month or two out from making the swap. I would like to try and make my column shifter work but I certainly haven't taken a floor shifter off the table.

Roger that. good to know.

Turbostang7, i thought of something that may effect the column shifter. This may be a dumb question, but in a standard Titan, the shifter goes "P,R,N,D", and then "3,2,1" is operated electronically via a toggle switch. Basically what im saying is, with the shifter at its lowest point its still just in "D" whereas in a regular the dodge the shifter would be at "1" at its lowest point. I hope im expaining this clear enough, but given this, would the Nissan shifter likely not work?

hmmm, it will work to go to drive and the rest but not to manualy shift through the gears. there might be a way to hook up to the selinoids inside the trans and use those for your shifting with the electronics? not too sure about the 47rh how they work inside?

If its going to be too much trouble, i may lean more towards a floor shifter. Looks like Lokar has some shifters that would likely work. and heck, i already have the hole in my floor.

You won't need an adapter plate between the 4500 and 47RH, just the auto flywheel. It IS thinner, but you won't be attempting to bolt a TC to the manual flywheel anyway

I'll trade you transmissions and send some cash your way. I prefer stick over auto but I can't afford to buy all the new parts to do a swap

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

I'll send you the linkage and shift column.
