I have found you can really get the jump on a D-Max if you catch them on the side of the road with a flat and smoke-em. I have beat a couple this way.

^^ wow kinda hard to read there, .
I am pretty sure that everyone here is not disputing the fact that the cummins will definetly win the race to 500k, but the issue is that with minor mods(and by minor mods I mean intake, exhaust, tuner) the dmax will win!
for my cummins to even keep up with just a tuned dmax i had injectors, turbo, exhaust, head work, module, intake, lift pump, built trans etc. and it only kept up with a dmax with a efi tune on it. no lift pump, no injectors, stock intake, stock straighpiped exhaust, stock turbo, stock trans(probably was crying for mercy though ).

sure the cummins will win the longevity contest but in reality nowadays who keeps there truck for 500k anyways? sure there are plenty of guys that do but the majority of people now buy them drive them for 2-3 years and trade them in for new anyways so who cares if it makes it to that many miles? thats the thought anyways.

well if we are going to throw those in the mix too , thought this was just a dmax cummins thing so i left them out.

if only the ford looked better though i realy don't care for the looks of them.

but you are right the 6.4 with few mods is a bad truck and a hard one to keep up with
