i just had exact same problem with my 98. i replaced switch, timer module, pionted in wrong direction on both. turns out that problem is almost always caused by the wiper motor itself. guess i should have asked the guys at napa to begin with! napa was also by far the cheapest on a new with lifetime war.

i would think tho since they do work on the higher speeds that the switch would be more likly

i thought the same thing which is why i bought switch and timer module first..... to solve the exact same problem. was told that 99% of time its the actual motor. which was true for mine, fixed everything! yours could be different i guess????? let me know what you find out....

I dont think Ive ever had a problem with the motor itself I've definitely changed a few switches tho.

Thanks for the replies fellas I'll try to remember to let ya know what I find, now what to replace first I guess I might try to meter the motor leads and see if I get voltage on the lower setting that should rule out the motor itself.
