I was wondering if anyone had any input to help me build my tranny. My torque converter doesn't always lock up. i want it built to hold around 400-500 horse. The cheaper would be the better. If anyone has any input on what parts to get or a good rebuild kit please let me know. Thanks

 

i would get a suncoast extreme duty rebuild kit.... goerend vb.... and goerend tc.. and just to b safe i would do a billet input shaft..500hp will break the stock input shaft with ease

 

Have you ever built a tranny before? If not you may want to find a buddie how does to baby sit you while you do it. They're not that complicated but if you haven't done a few and take it apart look at all the pieces on a table it's gets overwhelming quick.

 

I'm am going to have someone else build it but i need to tell him what parts i want in it.

 

Then i would agree with monster12valve on the parts list. Just buy the kits and install them let somone esle do the parts mixing thought process for you.
