Default I need Transmission HELP!!!!

okay heres the story, ive been limping my tranny around for a little while, it has 111k miles on it. The other day it started having poor shifting quality, start in second and shutter or feel like it wasnt even grabbing, tap the throttle, it would settle down and shift as normal. Well tonight it did this same thing, started out in second reved up like it wasn't grabbing anything, came to stop. I started going again, shifted fine, all the way to overdrive, locked up in overdrive, started to give it some throttle hit 1800rpm and a loud bang! Lost all gears forward and reverse. I fear its a snapped input, but what are some of the other possibilites?

no one has any answers?

Flex plate, input shaft, torque converter...... unfortunately the list goes on.
If you have an inspection cover on the bottom of your bell housing you can look up to see if you t/c is turning.
Pull the dipstick and check the oil level with the truck off and running. If the levels are the same, I bet your input shaft is broken, and not turning the oil pump.
Last thing to do would be drop the pan. Check the oil quality, and for any debris.

Ok i pulled the trans dipstick today. With the truck off and running, indications are the pump is running, since the trans fluid is in the safe zone, while vehicle is off and barely on the dipstick is running. Shoulda paid more attention to my truck, more specifically the trans. Anyways with the fluid level this low what would it break? Im assuming an intermediate shaft or output maybe a band? IDK. I haven't pulled the pan yet, kind of dreading that. I put it gear even tho it wont go anywhere and i couldn't really hear anything inside the trans making noise....

Pull it and get it over with. If you heard a snap it's gotta come out and it sounds like it should have come out a while ago from your description. Unlikely to snap a band. At least in my experience. Based on the description i'd check the overdrive unit first once the tranny is out. But i'd just plan on doing a full rebuild/replace with some trick parts.
