It also depends on how you drive your truck as to how much it will hold with stock bolts. Im one that wont go past 16.5 with stock bolts but i did a truck with stock bolts to 23 and it lasted until he got rid of the truck and when he got rid of it the kid didnt have it for the weekend and it got trashed. It will greatly effect your spool time with a bigger charger and poorly tuned afc, and this said truck hated cold weather by the way.

the problem with adding too much timing is that the p7100 has fixed timing, and even 12 degrees is alot of timing for idle speed so its a trade off, it kinda sucks really. a Duramax or any modern diesel would idle in the negative timing numbers and then go all the way up in the 30s(on a hot tune) when running.
