isnt the idle for 12v supposed to be around 700-800rpm?

Mine did that, try draining the filter bowl, there could be water sitting in it.

Yet another p pump not needing to be monkeyed with. It's AMAZING how often it turns out to not be the problem, when at first someone thinks it might be.

Yes the only time you should screw with a p pump is when you are trying to manipulate more power from it

REASON I WAS CONSIDERING THE P PUMP IS SIMPLY THE TRUCK DID NOT PERFORM THIS WAY BEFORE REBUILD WITH DIFFERENT COMPONENTS. JUST TIRED OF STINKING UP THE NEIGHBORHOOD EVERY MORNING.

Oh, I wasn't busting your ***** about thinking it might be the pump. I was just making the point that it's incredibly rare that the pump actually turns out to be the problem.
