i just had my 97 47re fully rebuilt. have got a tripple disc goerends converter, goerends high psi valve body, billit imput shaft, and suncost heavy duty rebuild kit. i have driven it about 500 miles, and the other day i has the converter locked manually with my switch, went to pass a car in high gear @ about 50mph, and as soon as i mashed the throttle, it unlocked? does anyone know why? it was very violent. does not happen if you ease into it, stays locked all the way up to top speed.
