Check your backlash on your gears. is it a grinding or more of a whine?

if the backlash is to far out it will make noise untill the gears heat up and expand then the noise will go away. might not be the cause but I would start there

Default CAD

With your set up trash the CAD set up on your truck and go with a Hub conversion set up with CAD delete, will not regret... Do not wait like I did untill the weak set up chews the splines off the ends of the shaft and leaves you with out 4wheel drive in the dead off winter just my whole two censt worth....

x2 my buddys jeep truck did that to him, a little bushing went out that keeps the two shafts alligned, and left him without 4x4. kinda sucked having to pull him up his lane till he fixed it.
