Default HELP!!!!! 12v Fueling problem

all I know when I step on it at like 60-65 and try and get it to get moving fast to say 75-80 it just sputters, falls on its face and goes nowhere and has no power....now if I slowly speed up it will go just fine....kind of sounded like it was missing like a gas motor

ps. there is no more black smoke looked to be only a gray/white haze.

I was thinking timing slip...fuel pressure shot, maybe HG blown I dont know????

Hey did you find out what the problem is? I just timed my 95 r2500 4x4, installed a new feul plat and a 3 gsk, and now it sounds similar to your problem. My dodge smokes alot and misses. I checked my timing 3 times before I put on the front cover. Have you just done some work to your rig??

have you checked your fuel filter?. check Fuel pressure. could be combination of things. start ruling out the easy ones first. Start with filter, inspect lines, fuel heater bowl. ( little filter on bottom could be full of crap.) then if they all check out, you might want to check timing. imo. good luck

Check all your fuel lines, and maybe crack one of the injector lines just to make sure you dont have any air in it like hotcummins said. Which rearend gears do you have and what rpm are you runnin at 75-80?

i havent had achance to check it but it ran better the other day. I was running like 2300ish RPM's at 75-80 I have 4:10's.

I think it does need a new filter and now that I finally have a garage i can work on it mor regulary.
