i know how u feel, mine did it when i first got my truck, but i got lucky it didnt get any of the gears, it shot right out the top of the timing case i welded the break and 3 yrs later still holding

does the truck still run?
if the truck still runs you did not jump time. if it got in the gears then the gears are broken because there is no room between them for the pin to go thru. they MIGHT be knicked though. to change the gearcase you have to pull the cam out.

no the truck still runs fine, its just pukin out oil

Thanks to this site the kdp modification was one of the first things i did to my truck besides the change the oil and filters.I am thinking of buying another 12v truck but the the thought driving it home and having that happen make me think twice.
