let us know what a tranny guy says. worst case call Dave at Goerend Transmission Incorporated and talk to him. he is THE MAN for Dodge trannies... he built mine and it is ROCK SOLID!!!

when you call him don't be in a hurry to get off the phone with him. the least ammount of time i spent on the phone with him was about 30min and that was him calling me before the install going over the checklist of things for me to make sure to do..... we spent about an hour talking converter theory and another hour mentally building my tranny deciding what internals to put in it....

dang; you work quick with the POT and all... the POT is great if you can get ti set right. some guys say that they can get it to his lock-up at 30mph but i haven't gotten that drastic of adjustability... but we had a problem witht he truck going into lock-up / OD and then kicking back out... eventually it wouldnt go in anymore and at 65mph we'd be hitting about 22-2300 rpm... who ever was in our tranny last installed the OD clutch pack backwards. i'm not saying yours is backwards so much as it may be toast...

 

well it looks like my od is toast time to start saving my peanuts and build this thing right thanks for the help guys
