I installed a 2002 (might be a '01) valve body in my 1998 12-valve 47re. Now my TRANS TEMP light is on, OD OFF light is on, and it won't shift into OD.

I seem to recall reading somewhere that the resistance value is different for the trans temp thermistor in VB governor between '98 and '01 or '02 and the computer will think the temp is high when it's really not and throw you into limp mode.

I should be able to put a resistor somewhere and fool the computer. I have a trans temp gauge and the temp is not high.

I found the info when I was looking for something else but now that I need it I can't find it. If anyone has dealt with this before or knows where the info is located please let me know.
