hey guys, i really want to put the kit in for my kdp. im pretty confident i can do it myself.
but it scares me opening the timing case. and pully off the crank pully. im olny 16 but ive done some of my own engine work. im really just to cheap to have it hired done.
why didnt dodge recall this and the dealer take care of it?
any ideas?

There's always somebody around in case of trouble. Not to mention that with a little patience somebody on here can always talk you through most any problem you run into.

i wish some one made a video of the install in the truck.
i olny found one video on youtube and the guy was doing the whole motor and it was kinda low quality. plus the motor was out on a stand.

There is no recall because its not a safety item. Recalls are usually only done on safety items.

 

Thats the fix after the KDP has dropped and broke the timing case.



I think hes just looking for a vid to install the tab.
