I got a buddy that just got a #100 plate and we was looking at his truck and I was showing him how to do everything but I could not find where the boost elbow went on his.He has a 94 5 speed and mine is 95 but its right on the turbo and his not. Plz help me out thanks.

 

they never put boost elbows on the 94s because it is a caryover wh1c from the 1st gen 12v, the waste gate is controlled on the back of the afc housing instead of the elbow

 

well what would we do then?

 

block the wastegate off with a hose clamp or trill and tap o hole for the boost elbow

 

where is that at?

 

look at the back of the AFC were the line cones out into a tee fitting one of the lines goes to the intake manaflod and the other goes across the head to the wastegate. use a hose clamp to completly block it or put the elbow in and eliminate it. notreally to worry i had my injectors, and all fuleing upgrades with the stock turbo, 5speed tranny and didnt have any issues getting hot or overspeeding it just barked it alot
